NEST Services

NEST has a team of highly trained consultants offering bespoke support and advice to families from pregnancy until your child is at school. With a teacher on board, a midwife, experienced NHS professionals and Norlanders, the team at NEST together have over 120 year of combined experience!

NEST works alongside you and your family in a nurturing and non-judgmental way, to support you in your child's early years whilst ensuring you are receiving up-to-date and valid information.

NEST offers support through 1:1 consultations and group workshops, both virtually and face-to-face. We are also able to offer follow on support via emails & WhatsApp but please ask for further information about this support offering.

We offer support on the following areas:

Please note we are not a medical service, if you have any medical concerns about your child then please contact their GP, Health Visitor or health professional.

• Preparing and packing birthing bag for Mum and Baby

• Infant Feeding (bottle-feeding and breastfeeding)

• Transition from milk to solid food (Weaning)

• Toilet Training

• Fussy Eating

• Behaviour/ Managing Emotions

• Family Life Adjustments (new sibling/ moving house etc)

• Sleep

• Separation Anxiety

• School Readiness

• Starting School & Nursery

When we make an appointment with you for your consultation, we prefer that your child is not present (unless otherwise agreed). We feel that if you are seeking advice on something you are struggling with regarding your child, it is best for your little one not to hear this, as this can cause anxiety and sometimes have a negative impact on your situation. 

​

If you feel that your consultation would be more beneficial with grandparents or other carers involved who are involved in your child's care, then please do mention this to us on enquiry. We feel strongly that it is important to do what works for you as a family. We are also able to liaise with Nurseries & Schools with your consent. 

​

If you are not sure what service would best be suited for your needs, or perhaps you have a few things you would like to discuss but not sure where to start, please drop us a message and we can have a chat about the right service and approach for your needs​

Once you have got in contact, we can then work out together what the right support is for you and your family and what the cost will be for this.

The cost for NEST's services will depend on the type of support you would like. Prices start from £50 for an hour's virtual consultation.
